Vincent Mercier purchased Chateau Tertre de Samonac in 2005 and is now a proud owner of the château. He has been producing organic wine since the early 2000s and this delightful wine made from 100% Merlot grapes that grow on 25-30-year-old vines, offers a deep and rich concentration of fruit with a well-balanced acidity and tannins. Chateau Tertre Samonac Cotes De Bourg is a robust yet well-balanced wine that pleases the palate with its good acidity and great tannins, which will soften as the wine breathes. On the nose, it has a delightful aroma of dark cherries and plums, with accented spices, gravel, and tobacco nuances that develop in the glass. Chateau Tertre Samonac Cotes De Bourge has a wonderful character and elegance that is hard to resist.
