Description
Château Lagrange – Lussac Saint-Émilion
Château Lagrange is a classic right-bank Bordeaux red from the Lussac Saint-Émilion appellation, crafted predominantly from Merlot with supporting Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The vineyards sit on clay-limestone soils typical of the area, lending depth and balance to the wine.
Aromas of ripe black cherry and plum are layered with subtle notes of toasted oak, dried herbs, and gentle spice. Partial ageing in oak barrels adds structure and complexity while preserving the purity of the fruit. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with polished tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, savoury finish.
Rich yet refined, this wine captures the character of the Saint-Émilion satellites and is equally enjoyable now or after a few years of short-term cellaring.
