Description

Domaine de Petit Roubié Nature de Roubié Rouge is an organically farmed red wine from the Languedoc, produced by Olivier Azan, a pioneer of organic viticulture in southern France. Grown on clay-limestone soils, the vineyards benefit from Mediterranean sunshine balanced by cooling influences that preserve freshness and purity of fruit.

The wine is a blend of Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, vinified with a minimal-intervention approach to highlight varietal character and terroir. In the glass, it shows a bright cherry-red colour with purple highlights, offering expressive aromas of ripe cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle peppery and herbal notes.

On the palate, it is fresh, supple, and easy-going, with light, fine-grained tannins and juicy red fruit at the core. The structure is balanced and approachable, making it a lively, honest wine designed for everyday enjoyment rather than power or oak influence.
