Description

François Ducrot – La Vie en Orange is a naturally fermented orange wine from Languedoc, made from organically grown Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier cultivated on limestone soils. After around two weeks of skin contact and a gentle direct press, the wine rests three months on fine lees in stainless steel, preserving freshness and purity.

It shows a pale-gold colour with a subtle orange tint. The nose offers apple, pear, and orange blossom, layered with hints of dried nuts, peach, and lychee. On the palate, it’s dry, textured, and bright, with crisp acidity, delicate green-tea tannins, and a savoury, mineral-driven finish.

François Ducrot is a small, independent natural winemaker working in the south of France with a focus on purity, drinkability, and minimal intervention. His wines are crafted from organically farmed vineyards, using native yeasts, gentle extraction, and little to no added sulphur.
