Description

Château Bonnin La Fleur Blanchon AOC Lussac Saint Emilion is a small estate, spanning over only 6 hectares of land, situated just 10 kilometers north of the village of Saint-Emilion. This small size allows the wine to be handcrafted with utmost care and attention to detail by the husband-and-wife team of Patricia and Philippe Bonnin, from harvesting the grapes to ageing the wine in French oak barrels.
The wine is made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are carefully selected to produce a dry, medium-bodied taste that is both lush and flavourful. The wine boasts ripe dark blue plum, blueberry, blackberry, and crushed raspberry flavours that are sure to tantalize your taste buds.
Aging the wine in French oak barrels has imparted a subtle clove and vanilla spiciness to the blend, which adds complexity and depth to the wine's flavour profile. The blend is round and smooth, showing all the hallmarks of a fine Right Bank wine.
You can enjoy this exquisite wine on its own, or pair it with roast red meats or casseroles to complement its flavours. With its handcrafted nature and exquisite taste, Château Bonnin La Fleur Blanchon AOC Lussac Saint Emilion is a must-try for any wine connoisseur.
