Scheid Family Wines has been farming wine grapes in Monterey County, California since 1972. Today, the family farms over 4,000 acres of sustainably certified vineyards across the 70-mile stretch of the Salinas Valley and operates a state-of-the-art, fully integrated winery focused on quality estate-grown wines.
At the winery, fruit is carefully sorted, destemmed, and fermented in stainless steel at warm temperatures, with gentle punch-downs performed daily. After fermentation, the wine is pressed and aged in a combination of new and neutral French oak, adding refined notes of vanilla and toast without overpowering the fruit.
