This filtered kriek, similar to other Lindemans beers, is produced using a lambic base. However, what sets it apart is that 25% of fresh sour cherry juice is macerated before the beer goes through filtration and pasteurization. This lambic beer boasts a deliciously fruity taste with the refreshing flavour of freshly picked cherries. Its sharp and full-bodied flavour is perfectly balanced between sweet and sour. It pairs well with bread and cottage cheese with herbs, terrines, and carbonade flamande, a traditional Flemish stew. For optimal enjoyment, serve chilled at a temperature of 2-3°C.
